Pilot Studies Civic Education

The PrEval project developed three pilot studies in the field of civic education. They were dedicated to the aspect of digitality and the possibilities for evaluating digitalization-related civic education.

The three pilot studies were being coordinated and supervised by the PrEval teams at the University of Duisburg-Essen, PRIF and DeZIM.

The following pilot studies were being implemented in the field of civic education:

• Development of an integrated model and self-assessment tool for Digital Citizenship Literacy (University of Duisburg-Essen)
• Digitally supported evaluation of digital civic education projects: “One click is not the same as productive engagement” (PRIF/DeZIM)
• Development of an AI competence profile from the perspective of civic education (University of Duisburg-Essen)

The results of the pilot studies have been published in the PrEval Studien series.
