About the Author
Jan Ulrich Hense, Prof. Dr. phil., born 1970, has been researching, teaching, advising and working in evaluation for 25 years. After a long academic career, including six years as a professor of Higher Education Didactics and Evaluation at Justus Liebig University Giessen, he has been working as an independent consultant for impact orientation and evaluation since 2021. He is co-editor of the Journal of Evaluation and former chairman of the Evaluation Society (Gesellschaft für Evaluation e. V.; DeGEval).
