Handreichung 1/2025
Nutzung Künstlicher Intelligenz in der Evaluation öffentlicher Maßnahmen. Chancen und Risiken abwägen, um hohe Evaluationsqualität sicherzustellen
Jan Ulrich Hense
AI-supported applications are changing evaluation practice – with new opportunities, but also new challenges. How can AI support the evaluation process? What risks does its use entail? What are the consequences for the field of evaluation as a whole?
The current Expertise and Handreichung provide a systematic overview of the current state of development, highlight potentials and limitations and formulate specific recommendations for the field of evaluation. It becomes clear that AI can bring efficiency and quality gains, but its use requires a critical awareness of the necessary prerequisites and a clear orientation towards the standards of good evaluation. In his PrEval Handreichung, Jan Ulrich Hense provides insights into a multi-layered debate and the consequences of AI in the context of evaluation.
